When Ciara and Russell Wilson’s daughter Sienna, sweetly known as Sisi, turned eight, her birthday party had to be as bold and magical as she is. With less than two weeks for Fancy Chancey to bring it to life, Ink & Grid led the design for us, favors, and many rentals for a Wicked-inspired celebration full of creative details, unforgettable experiences, and pure childhood wonder.
Thanks to an incredible team of talented friend-ors, what unfolded was a vibrant, immersive event that took guests straight into the land of Oz, with a little extra sparkle, sass, and sisterhood.
As guests arrived, they were greeted by the Wicked witches themselves, Elphaba and Glinda, brought to life by Royal Entertainers. Each child received a custom map guiding them on a journey through the magical world designed just for Sisi.

The trail began at “The Shiz University Library,” styled with stunning balloons and backdrops from The Balloon Cart Co. Here, little guests chose a book and designed their own custom book bags, perfect for Sisi’s curious, imaginative spirit.
In Glinda’s Glamour Garden, guests chose their side, Team Glinda or Team Elphaba, by selecting a dreamy tulle cape in black or pink. They created colorful sand art, twirled ribbon wands, and posed for magical portraits in full glam mode.
At Elphaba’s Potion Lab, kids got crafty with witch hat decorations and custom Elphaba glasses. And the highlight? A surprise performance of Elphaba’s iconic song, Defying Gravity, sung by Cynthia Erivo herself. A magical, unforgettable moment.

Guests lined up for broomstick photos at Flight School, complete with a green screen backdrop and oversized balloons by The Balloon Cart Co and Polaroid snapshots. And in true superstar fashion, Ciara jumped in for her signature chair balance challenge, broom and all.
The trail led to the grand finale: the Emerald City. Yellow chairs lined the path like the Yellow Brick Road, and stunning custom desserts by Moochie Pops awaited. Guests sang, cheered, and celebrated Sisi’s big day in true fairytale fashion.
And finally, a bounce house from Pink Fest brought everyone together for one last burst of joy. Because nothing says childhood magic quite like flying into the sky with your friends after a day full of wonder.
This party couldn’t have happened without the creativity, hustle, and magic of every single friend-or involved. We are endlessly grateful to have partnered with a team that brought their all, even with less than two weeks to prepare. Sisi’s Wicked 8th was a reminder that with heart and hustle, anything is possible.
